Brewster Flood Triptych

The Land and Water of Brewster: Past, Present and Future. In this triptych the landscape is first observed as it was for thousands of years, prior to the 19th century when dams were built to create an extensive reservoir system to supply fresh water to the city of New York. Next we see it as it is today, with the reservoirs in place. Lastly, is a prophetic version of what the landscape may look like in the future; after global warming has caused massive worldwide flooding. oil on wood. 20" x 60"
